Reflections on Chapter 1

1. The role that national technology standards play in the integration of technology is that it enables stakeholders for educational purposes to use the technology which helps promote school improvement in the United States.

2. I can manage my classroom during technology integration by giving my students a well defined task to work on; instead of working the whole time on one big project. I can assigned homework instead of taking time up in the lab. Giving my students deadlines on certain work will keep them motivate to get it done on time. Having a trained assistant with computers will help me out with students who may need assistance with the computers.

3. Learning outcomes and assessments are connected because they are both used to assess a student mastery of the lesson objectives.

4. Special learners are students who are struggling academically, or they are ones who are English language learners.
